Breaking News

[Update – 23:46GMT – Twitter counts appear to have returned to normal for most users]

Twitter users across the world are reporting that the social networking site is resetting their follower counts to zero. Twitter users are being greeted with the following message

You don’t have any followers yet.”

Users who access their profiles are finding that they now have no followers and are following nobody (Some users are reporting seeing their previous number of users but with the above message).

Users are speculating that this glitch could be the result of the move over to the new Twitter interface.
