Team collaboration app Grapple improves task management across time zones

With more functionality than Slack and more practical than Basecamp for travelling team members, Grapple is an easy to use task management system that improves team efficiency.

There are over 300 software options available for project and task management, and it is of the utmost importance to take the time to understand the vast landscape of this market – and ultimately, which solution is most suitable for an organization’s needs.

Slack is great for internal communication, but it doesn’t really handle project management. Basecamp has been a benchmark in the industry for the past 12 years; however, there is a startup out of Glendale, CA that is giving task management a shake-up.

Grapple is developed by people across time zones and countries, and for this reason it has incorporated a unique Location Reporting feature. If your work takes your team out of the office, Grapple can record locations and give you easy reports. This social technology is especially helpful for international teams working in different locations across the globe.

Following the same working in different time zones thread, Grapple’s Meeting Scheduler also allows teams to rapidly find the best time to schedule a meeting with collaborators across multiple time zones.

Another unique, user-driven feature is the Time Tracking option. The feature allows you to track time using easy-to-enable Harvest integration in any project and start tracking for individual tasks.

With an impressive array of big-name clients such as Hyundai, CapitalOne, and Kohl’s, Grapple is looking to take over the project management software industry.

“Grapple aims to help users avoid writing emails when working on projects and tasks within team collaboration, said CEO and co-Founder Umesh Lalwani, adding, “It helps to exchange ideas, task due dates between lots of people and improves team efficiency.”

With prices ranging from $7.99/month for up to 100 projects and 5GB of storage to $12.99/month for unlimited projects and up to 10GB of storage, Grapple’s pricing is definitely the more economical choice over Basecamp’s $29-$79 monthly subscription, although the latter does offer 100GB of file storage.

However, Grapple’s unique Activity Feed also organizes all your team’s task activities in one place to give better insight on all tasks, and the platform’s Granular Access Control sets user roles and responsibilities to only give access to relevant areas or functions of the App.

The app is available for iPhone, iPad, Android, iOS, and Windows.
