netTALK launches ezLINQ enabling users to connect landlines, TVs to the internet

netTALK users will now be able to make free local and long distance calls from anywhere in the world using a landline phone, gaming console, or smart TV, as the company announces the launch of ezLINQ

The main feature that distinguishes ezLINQ from previous netTALK products is the capability of the portable plug-in device to connect to any router and landline phone. Although netTALK users could always make calls to any part of the world with just an internet connection, ezLINQ serves as a mini-wifi router that can be connected to a landline phone, cell phone, smart TV, or game console.

Some of the other cool features of ezLINQ include a built-in power adapter, advanced noise reduction voice tech, real time Fax, and a netTalk companion mobile app to help setup the service in under two minutes.

Anastasios Kyriakides

“Our vision has always been to create a cutting edge and ultra-low cost smarter home phone solution. We focused on ‘ease of use’ and ‘speed’ on our next generation ezLINQ, and we guarantee you can activate your full featured phone service in a couple of minutes,” said Anastasios Kyriakides, Chairman and CEO at netTALK.

netTALK has managed to achieve its goal by combining a built-in VoIP ATA and mini-WIFI router into one compact device. The product will replace the former highly successful DUO product line as netTALK is looking toward the future and the new generation.

The announcement serves as further evidence of netTALK’s intent to reinvent the landline phone and provide consumers with a greater freedom of choice.

For almost a decade the company has been offering affordable home and on-the-go digital phone services such as  netTALK DUO Wi-Fi, netTALK DUO and netTALK DUO II in an effort to replace landline telephones with digital alternatives.

The company has also announced the introduction of the ezLINQ referral challenge, which will reward those who help spread the word about ezLINQ with access to various discounts, prizes and other incentives.

The VoIP industry is rapidly emerging as an attractive communications alternative for customers and was valued at more than $83 billion in 2015 and is expected to reach above $140 billion by 2021.
