An Post iPhone app released

In a recent blog post An Post have announced the release of their iOS app. The app allows users to track shipments, find the nearest post office, and calculate postage rates, all from their iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

The app is free to download from the Apple App Store and has already become the top free app in Ireland.

Customers Services Manager with An Post, Aidan Hughes stated:

“Our existing web based services are already well used by customers and it makes sense to make them truly mobile by developing this App. Customers want this type of easily accessible real time information from us”.

The app, developed by An Post subsidiary Post Consult International (PCI), is expected to be updated regularly, and is another welcome addition to the Irish app scene.
