YouTube’s ‘Enda’s Earpiece’, an early satirical take on Taoiseach Enda Kenny

The election is over, the votes have been counted and the results are in – Fine Gael’s Enda Kenny will be Ireland’s next Taoiseach. And as is to be expected Kenny’s performance on the series of televised debates has become one of Ireland’s fastest growing memes.

One video, Enda Kenny’s Earpiece, has already been seen by nearly 100,000 users on YouTube. With links on Broadsheet.ie, Politics.ie, and having been featured on the YouTube homepage the video has become a successful early satirical take on Ireland’s new Prime Minister.

Enda Kenny’s Earpiece has been the top rated news and politics video this week in Ireland and has already become the 20^th all time top rated news and politics video in Ireland.

The video was created by the satirical @TaoiseachEnda Twitter user.
